Review: Deity America Plant Based Hair Product Line

dsc_0275Urban Girl Magazine had the opportunity to review the Deity America hair care line. This hair product line is made from all natural plant extracts from Tibet, China. The ingredients used in their product line are supposed to prevent hair loss.

Although I am not currently experiencing any hair loss I thought sampling this hair care line could only help. I had the opportunity to try the Deity Camellia Silk Serum Shine, Plant Shampoo for Hair Loss, Leave-in Hydrating and Repairing Scalp Treatment, Natural Edge Tamer, Plant Conditioner, and the Repairing Essence Daily Moisturizing Lotion.

The products had a pleasant scent. I can’t proclaim that the hair products prevented or stopped hair loss but after using the shampoo and conditioner my hair felt very soft and maintained its curl pattern well.

The Deity camellia silk serum definitely added shine to my hair. The serum reminded me of the ‘Frizz-ease’ hair product with its oily nature. The serum  definitely added shine to my hair and I’d have to say that less is more with this product.

The one product I know every natural haired girl needs in her stash is a good edge control and Deity has this on lock ( this was my fave from the line) .

The edge control worked wonders for my edges and laid them down all day. The edge tamer didn’t leave my hair extra oily or dry.  Check out the photos below of my edges and look at how laid they were, post twist out after using this edge tamer.
