Chelsea, New York- On Sunday June 5th Urban Girl Magazine attended the ‘Glam Room’ presented by Enjoi Lux. The event took place at Studio 450 located on West 31st street. The event utilized two levels of space filled with entertainment including vendors, a dj, complimentary massages, manicures, small bites and bar tending provided by Cocktail Vixens. The second level also offered an open rooftop for guest to step out and enjoy the weather before the rain started. But not even gloomy weather could stop the glamorous fun guests engaged in from 1pm-6pm.
There was a panel of women successful in their respective fields providing advice on how to master your field as an entrepreneur. The panelist included fashion blogger Kryzayda Rodriguez, former Essence magazine Digital Beauty Editor and current Allure magazine’s Senior Digital Editor Deena Campbell, Yoga instructor Kat Fowler, and Chyna of Dollhouse Cosmetics. The panel was moderated by Beauty and Wellness journalist Grace Gold. The ladies gave their jewels of advice on their secrets to their success during their panel and answered questions presented by the moderator.
Attendees of The Glam Room had the option of sitting or standing to listen to the panel discussion or to walk around and shop from the unique vendors in attendance. There were also raffle prize giveaways like the 50/50, a free webpage design by El Daniels, movie tickets and much more.
