Their ‘For Queens Only’ brunch is just that an event for women only to enjoy some good food, laughs, shopping and a panel discussion presented by ‘boss ladies’. For Queens Only was presented by the Brunch ‘n’ Grind network along with the lifestyle organization Embracing the Crown. The brunch took place at Dolce lounge and the panel featured Christina Brown of lovebrownsugar.com, Nyeesha who’s a celebrity coach and speaker, Scottie Beam who’s an entrepreneur, freelancer, Hot 97 alum, and host of the Black Girl Podcast, last but not least Sylvia Obell who’s an entertainment reporter at Buzzfeed.com.

.

.

The women panelist spoke on career challenges, relationships, ways to balance your passion along with your 9 to 5 and much more.

.

“I didn’t quit my full time job until 2013 when I started to make some coins. My biggest challenge initially was making sure I was charging the right amount of money for my services” Chirstina (love brown sugar) said after explaining her challenge starting out as an entrepreneur.

.

.

Socttie Beam told the audience about her challenges of insecurity while starting out in the entertainment industry  “…A lot of the time we look for words from other people to make you valid…”

.

Guests enjoyed shopping from the women owned business vendors, bottomless mimosas, chicken & waffles, pasta, salad and much more. Live music was provided by DJ Sienna, and gift bags with travel sized hair products from Jane Carter Solution were given to each attendee. Keyaira Boon of Thecletter.com was in attendance along with Ayana Iman of Authentic Convos among many other New Jersey public figures and women looking to have a good time, listen to gems being dropped and more. The article is nicely organized. I see the author has a true
knack for this particular subject. I like that subject, and I am in constant
search of new pieces and the most recent news.
I truly loved that one, as it’s filled with interesting facts
and it is a sort of easygoing article. I spent just a couple of minutes reading,
and due to well-structured text, so I understand it totally.
    Thanks!
