Washington, D.C. – The album release party for Kinetic, on Saturday night the first full length album by the peace and body roll duo; BOOMscat, was LIT. BOOMscat took care of fans real good. Those lucky enough to make it out to the album release on Thursday, were spoiled. Great music, good food, good drinks, African prints, and accessories to complete the outfit. BOOMscat doesn’t just give new life to music, they change lifestyles.

The album Kinetic just dropped Friday and it’s already #6 on Itunes RnB charts and #94 on Global Charts.

Asha Santee (BOOM) keyboardist, drummer, producer was killing the drums, giving us bass and keeping the body rolls going. Jennifer Patience Rowe (scat) vocalist/songwriter soulful voice reigned supreme, each song was felt to the core.

The peace and body roll duo BOOMscat began their music together 6 years ago in 2012 and have been steadily gaining notice for their music. The Trilogy, The West Wing Project and their EP No Life Jacket (made it to #18 on Itunes top RnB albums) are some projects you should check out if you haven’t heard of them. The emotional meditation of their previous work combined with their album will leave you Woke.

There were clothes and fabulous lotions and creams done but Buttah Babe. She had pieces that really pop.

Love was the energy for the night. BOOMscat fans are the loyalists. Everyone I ran into had stories of unique ways they had stumbled upon the sultry sounds of the dynamic duo. It’s easy to see why; one listen and you are hooked to the serene melodies wrapping you in a tight embrace. Then the notes that Patience ascends to bring you to float on clouds right there with her.
