Jamie Knight’s Video Release Party for ‘Savior’

Urban Girl Mag attended the video release and album preview for Jamie Knight’s gospel music debut on September 18th at Gunner’s Run. With a long and successful history in the music industry that includes winning ‘Star Search’ as a child and signing to Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella Records as a teen, Jamie is a vet in her own right.
An ordained minister, Jamie says “the only reason I’m not a “Rihanna” is because I wasn’t willing to compromise the things that I was comfortable doing.”
It’s clear that she’s found her perfect place. With an incredible range and ease, she performed a preview of inspirational and soul stirring songs. She has a light that shines and a like-ability while spreading the Gospel of Jesus–even in an unlikely pub with incredible grub!
