Yesterday live in New York City Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy hosted the annual “Dick Clark New Years Rockin’ Eve” celebration.

Mariah Carey was the finale performance of the night. Contrary to the hype prior to her taking stage her live performance was not so spectacular. She looked beautiful but sang horribly. It was actually hard to watch her struggle to deliver her hit songs.

While singing her song “Emotions” she basically tells the audience that song wasn’t supposed to play as she proceeds not to sing and struggle with the lyrics. But even while performing her other songs she misses notes and her lip syncing is way off. To top things off she exited the stage in the middle of her song “We Belong Together“.

After her performance Mariah tweeted out “Shit happens”
