New York, NY- Wednesday night Platinum Sounds recording studio in New York City was filled with industry insiders anxious to hear the brand new album entitled ‘Nothing 2 Something #N2S’ by Trey Songz’s newest artist off of his new label ‘Song Book Records’  Mike x Angel. The exclusive listening event was hosted by Trey Songz and Kevin Liles. Power actor Rotimi later joined the mix on stage as well. The room was jammed packed as guests stood around holding cocktails and conversations with one another until the event began. The open studio space was dimly lit with candles placed in every corner and illuminated marquess letters aligned the wall that spelled out Mike x Angel.

We first heard from Mike x Angel on Trey’s Anticipation III mixtape where he was featured. Wednesday night Angel would stake his claim in NYC as a skillful and talented artist who is now ready for the spotlight in the music industry.

Before the listening session began Trey got on the mic and introduced hist artist to the crowd. Proceeding the introduction the music began to play and Angel, Trey, and Kevin Liles all sung along as the audience vibed with them. The songs that were played included ‘One Time’, ‘Countin on it’, and one of the crowd’s favorites ‘Complicated’. 

Mike x Angel’s new sound proved that regardless of the nay sayers R n B music is definitely here to stay and his new album Nothing 2 Something #N2S is definitely going to prove that. As the first act coming from Trey’s Song Book Records we definitely have a lot more to look forward to.
