New York, NY- Legendary rapper Roxanne Shante celebrated her contribution  of 30 years of philanthropy, entertainment, education, and women empowerment last night presented by Music  Speaks Power PR, Media Power Respect, Mimi Planned Events, and Sandi Kane PR, at the Hudson Terrace in the ‘big apple’.  The star studded event began at 6pm and lasted until 11 pm.

Hip hop artists such as Arnstar, Mr. Cheeks, and The Lost Boys were in attendance. The event was hosted by Terri P. and June Archer. There was live music by Dj Will of Yac Radio. There were lite bites, and a cash bar for guests to enjoy while they mixed and mingled.

Mid-way through the night guests were entertained by live performances by Arnstar and Brooke Lynn.

Everyone walked away with from the celebration with cup cakes, and feeling the authentic NYC hip hop vibe with cupcakes and with a gift bag featuring cosmetic goodies and an issue of Industry Rules magazine featuring an exclusive interview with Roxanne Shante .
