The 1 and Only Res Performs in Newark
Newark, NJ- Yesterday night Urban Girl Magazine attended the first installment of the Jazzy Soul Series at the Skylab on the rooftop of Hotel Indigo presented by LPCCD. The featured artist was Philadelphia born singer, Res. Res belted out soulful tunes yesterday evening while guests watched and enjoyed the vibe with her.
The Skylab’s rooftop bar over looked the Newark skyline. Attendees of the series enjoyed complimentary shots of 1800 Tequila and appetizers proved by the lounge. Res ended her performance perfectly for the culture of the city of Newark, by performing of the house music classic “Superman” by Black Coffee.We all know Newark, NJ loves house music.
Res has worked with Talib Kweli in the past, and is debuting a new album soon entitled “Reset”
