Sistahs in Business Expo Tour Makes Their First Stop in Newark

Newark, NJ – Last Saturday women entrepreneurs gathered at the Ramada Inn in Newark, NJ for the Sistahs in Business Expo.  The expo was curated by Aisha Taylor Issah who is an  entrepreneur, ordained minister, and college professor.

The premise of the Sistahs in Business Expo is to bring women small business owners together in one place where their businesses can be patronized by their ‘Sistahs‘. Small business owners traveled from all over New York and New Jersey for the opportunity to gather with fellow entrepreneurs and with the hope of gaining new customers.

While walking around I snagged 2 cool pairs of sunglasses from Queen Last Minute LLC. It was also difficult to resist the temptations of splurging on all of the unique natural hair products on display. There were body butters, hair and body oils, all natural hand made candles (my weakness), and vegan products galore. The creativity and uniqueness of some of these products were amazing. This is always the extreme upside to attending an expo. You have the opportunity to connect with the owner of the product you are purchasing, in that moment you can inquire first hand the inspiration behind the product(so cool). The other upside to patronizing businesses at an expo is that it is rare you’ll see the product mass produced in your local wal-mart. If you appreciate unique one of a kind products then attending the Sistahs in Business Expo or any small business expo is what you need to do.

Buying goods from fellow women was not the only objective last Saturday. Women who attended were encouraged to sit in on the panel discussions taking place throughout the 8 hour event. Discussions featured legendary female rapper McLyte, financial coach Dr. Lynn Richardson, Jasmine Sanders of the D.L. Hughley show and many other women offering top notch advice on entrepreneurship.

.

.

Aisha felt women needed to attend this expo because it would help not only the entrepreneurs make money but women attending would hopefully feel inspired to possibly start their own businesses. ” …That’s why we’ve brought a lot of successful women here today to show our attendees and other business owners that you can do it. You don’t have to be from a certain place you don’t have to have a whole lot of money; you just have to have a passion and commitment to succeed and you can do it.” (News12nj.com)

.

The mayor of Newark Ras J. Baraka also stopped by the expo briefly to lend a few encouraging words to the women entrepreneurs and attendees as well.

..

.

The Sistahs in Business Expo will be stopping in Philadelphia on July 14th 2018 , Columbia, South Carolina on August 11, 2018, and in Atlanta, GA on October 13, 2018. Learn more about the expo and/or to purchase tickets visit sistahsinbusinessexpo.com

I have exactly the same opinion. You even can not imagine what
a terrible procedure of studying is! Mainly if you’re both working and going to university.
I had serious troubles with my professors because I was not on time with all my tasks.
Thanks to a few of my co-students, that shipped me a

For fair money, they assisted me with my burning tasks, and I got a grade A for the first time
