Amazon Creates Grocery Store that Eliminates Lines and the Checkout Process

636165322272478472-screen-shot-2016-12-05-at-7-55-11-amAmazonĀ has launched a test grocery store called Amazon Go in San Francisco, CA. At this Amazon grocery store customers tap their cell phones on a turnstile while walking in and then begin to grab what they need from the grocery shelves.

There’s a sensor that sends a signal to your Amazon Prime account of the items you’ve placed in your shopping bag. The technology then tallies up what you’ve purchased and charges it to your Amazon Prime account.
