Maya Angelou Google Doodle

Today, Google launched a Doodle and video to celebrate author, poet, memoirist, and activist Dr. Maya Angelou’s 90th birthday. The Doodle’s audio is set to her iconic poem Still I Rise,” which, along with her own voice, features the voices of several other individuals whose lives she has inspired and who aspire to live by her legacy today. These voices include Oprah Winfrey, Alicia Keys, America Ferrera, Martina McBride, Laverne Cox and Guy Johnson (Dr. Angelou’s son). Watch the video here
