Singer and actress Jill Scott filed for divorce from her husband Mike Dobson on September 15, and according to Bossip she was also granted a restraining order against him on that day as well. Dobson is the father of 5 kids from a previou relationship. He and Scott married 1 year ago. In the divorce documents Scott revealed the reason for their divorce is due to irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct that such further cohabitation would be unsafe or improper.

Scott’s estranged husband Mike Dobson told Bossip he was “blindsided” by Scott’s divorce filing. He went on to say “She’s an evil woman,” and “I’m telling you. It’s like what Jill Scott wants, Jill Scott gets. People are in her ear, and if someone comes in to challenge the dumb s**t, they made me be the bad guy and that got me outta there.”

Dobson went on to say “She’s got issues. There’s no men in that family, there’s only women. And when a man comes in, it’s like a challenge.” This is Jill Scott’s second marriage.
