
Viola Davis becomes the first black woman to win a Tony, Oscar, and a and an Emmy for acting.
Davis had an extraordinary year in acknowledgement within her career as an actress. She won a Tony award back in 2010 for Fences the Broadway play of the now movie. Davis then won an Emmy for her role in the abc show How to Get Away with Murder. Last night topped off the historical achievement by her winning an Oscar for her role in Fences as best supporting actor.
The makes Davis the first African American to win an Emmy, Tony and an Oscar for acting. Congrats Viola Davis for making history and kudos to you!
