Leah Jenea levitates the crowd at Lincoln Park Music Festival’s Jazzy Soul Series
Newark, NJ- On Tuesday, December 5th, Kapital Gaines, Inc. artist Leah Jenea levitated the crowd at Lincoln Park Music Festival’s Jazzy Soul Series to its feet! Leah Jenea performed original hits such as “Aux Cord”, “All Up To You” and “Way Up” from her debut CD LIFE WTR and even a few rousing tributes to some of her favorite artists such as Sia (“Opportunity” from Annie), Childish Gambino (“Redbone”) and Amy Winehouse (“Valerie”). So impressive was her performance that Wayne Winbourne, the Executive Director of Rutgers University Newark’s Institute of Jazz Studies, requested and received a copy of LIFE WTR for its hallowed music archives forever cementing Leah Jenea as part of New Jersey music history among greats such as Whitney Houston and Dana “Queen Latifah” Owens.
