Stars Ryan Destiny and Brian Tyree Henry, director Rachel Morrison, writer/producer Barry Jenkins, and the real life subjects of the film, two-time Olympic Boxing Gold Medalist Claressa Shields and coach Jason Crutchfield, attended the Los Angeles Premiere of THE FIRE INSIDE on Wednesday, December 4 at the DGA Theater. THE FIRE INSIDE is the inspirational true story of Claressa Shields, arguably the greatest female boxer of all time. Claressa, a high school Junior from Flint, Michigan, aided by her tough-love coach, Jason Crutchfield, pushes past all limitations to become the first American woman to win an Olympic gold medal in boxing.
