Dribble Against Cancer Celebrity Basketball Game

Brooklyn, NY- Urban Girl Magazine attended the Dribble Against Cancer Celebrity Basketball Game. Professional basketball player and Little Skills Academy owner Jameal Lynch along with LES Express teamed up to bring forth this charitable event.

The mission of Dribble Against Cancer is to nurture a positive relationship between the New York City Police Department and the youth of New York City through sport, education, and community service. All the while bringing awareness to the ongoing problem Cancer presents.

Some of the celebrities in attendance were Lil’ Mama, Arnstar, Chrissy of Love and Hip Hop New York, and Marc John Jeffries.

During the intermission of the basketball game the founder of Foster Care Unplugged, Melody Joanne Centeno presented an award to cancer and foster care survivor Jasmine Santiago.

All proceeds received from the basketball game will benefit Cancer Research, FosterCareUnplugged, The Big and Little Skills Academy Inc. and LES Express Inc.
