NEW YORK, NY—Columbia University—January 20-21, 2017—Calling all college women for an unforgettable weekend of networking with powerful and successful leaders in entertainment, business, politics, technology, and more! The Her Legacy Conference and Gala is a weekend showcasing and celebrating the accomplishments of women making strides in their fields while giving back to their communities. At a pivotal time when the dialogue around women’s issues is drastically changing– join us in this critical discussion and celebration of our voices. The conference is slated to take place Friday, January 20th, 2017 from 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM and Saturday, January 21st, from 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM. The gala will then be Saturday night from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Throughout the weekend, there will be panels, workshops, vendors, performances, special guests, and an arts showcase!

Beauty brands such as COCOTIQUE and SHEA GIRL will be distributing products to attendees. And media outlets such as URBAN GIRL MAGAZINE w ill be covering the event. The Saturday night Gala will include a red carpet, dinner, live performances, and awards ceremony. The only dress code being: dress to impress. The Her Legacy Conference & Gala is hosted in partnership with the Columbia University Chapter of NAACP, Lambda Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Columbia Organization of Rising Entrepreneurs, Cocotique, Columbia University’s African Development Group, Handcrafted By Jamilah J, New York University’s Women in Search of Excellence, Shea Girl, and Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. WEBelieve, which stands for Women Everywhere Believe, is an organization dedicated to lifting up the voices of women.
