Elizabeth, NJ- New Jersey native, and digital social media and digital media strategist, Karen Civil hosted a Live Civil Day which included a day of spreading positivity the Civil way. A host of games for the neighborhood kids, a youth basketball tournament, free food, and pure fun for the community of Elizabeth, NJ yesterday at the Mickey Walker recreation center.

Kids of all ages along with their parents, the mayor, and council people gathered in the community recreation center to bear witness to Karen’s unifying event. During the event a total of 10 bikes were raffled off to the 10 lucky winning ticket holders. While bikes were designated for the kids, all guest were presented with the opportunity of possibly winning  an autographed Cleveland Cavaliers jersey from fellow NJ native Kyrie Irving.

All attendees were given Live Civil t-shirts, all kids received pizza, complimentary cool pineapple drinks provided by one of the event sponsors, Pineapple Express Brooklyn (@pineappleexpressbk) free book bags from Adidas, endless bottles of Gatorade, and the basketball team received new team uniforms and sneakers from the event sponsor Adidas.
