Keke Palmer is Granted Temporary Sole Custody of Son Following Domestic Abuse Allegations Against Ex
Actress, Entrepreneur, Entertainer, Keke Palmer filed court documents requesting sole custody of her son. The actress also filed a restraining order against her ex claiming that her ex boyfriend Darius Daulton has allegedly engaged in several abusive acts over their two year relationship, including “destroying my personal property, including diaries and prescription eyeglasses, throwing my belongings into the street, throwing my car keys to prevent me from driving away, hitting [me] in front of our son, spewing profanities about me to our son, threatening to kill himself with a gun if I left him, harassment, and other physical and emotional abuse,”.
The court documents also state that Jackson has “trespassed into my home without my knowledge or consent, threatened me, then physically attacked me — lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone when I told him I was going to call the police.”
In an update shared on Nov.10, Radar reports that a Los Angeles judge has granted Keke Palmer a temporary restraining order against Darius Daulton. He must stay 100 feet from Palmer and their infant son. Palmer also has sole custody of Leo “until further notice,” per the outlet. Darius is not allowed visitation.
Photos of Darius’s abuse towards Keke circulated the internet yesterday (see below). Daulton’s brother, Actor Sarunas Jackson, mostly known for his role in the hit series ‘Insecure’ chimed in on the restraining order and custody battle sending a now deleted tweet that stated, “The most disgusting, vile, abusive, manipulative person I have EVER encountered in my entire life.. Abuses almost everyone. Y’all will see.. Just send positive energy to the babies.. Any child in the middle of something like this does not deserve it AT ALL. Wow. So damn sad.”
Sarunas’s tweet didn’t sit well with Palmer’s mother. She reacted by posting a video to her instagram account. She said Darius learned his abusive behavior from Sarunas.
