It was revealed today at a live press conference by Kentucky’s Attorney General that Police Officer Brett Hankinson is being charged on three counts of wanton endangerment connected to the night Breonna Taylor died. Which means he will be charged with the bullets that went into the adjacent apartment, not for the bullets that entered into Breonna’s apartment which ultimately lead to her death. A warrant will be issued for his arrest and his bond was set at $15,000 cash.

The other 2 officers who were present and shooting into Breonna’s house, Officer Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly and Detective Myles Cosgrove will not face any criminal charges. AG Daniel Cameron said the officers were justified in the firing of their weapons. The fatal shot that killed Breonna came from the gun of Myles Cosgrove.

It gets worse, non of the 3 officers will be charged with Breonna Taylors murder.

The city of Louisville, Kentucky is expecting widespread civil unrest behind this decision and has confirmed that a state of emergency has been issued, a curfew has been put in place and the National Guards have been released.
