Rashida Jones to Become MSNBC’s First Black Woman President

2021 has definitely been the year of firsts already. We have our first black woman Vice President, Kamala Harris, and President Biden’s cabinet picks are full of diversity firsts if they’re chose and substantial amount of history will be made.

On February 1st the popular news network MSNBC will be lead by Rashida Jones. Jones is currently a Senior Vice President at MSNBC and will soon replace the current President, Phil Griffin. Jones has worked for NBC Universal for the past 7 years.

Beginning last year, she was the executive producer for a pair of primary debates that set ratings records. Congratulations on Rashida Jones creating history at MSNBC.
