Newark, NJ- You read that title right! The evolving city of Newark has not only added a host of new developments and residential properties in the downtown area but the city is welcoming their first fashion week-end starting on Friday September 7th with an opening reception. There will be an art and fashion exhibition on Saturday September 8th and closing out the weekend on Sunday September 9th with a viewing of VOGUE’s Andre Leon Talley’s documentary entitled “The Gospel According to Andre”. The event will be moderated by Essence magazine’s Mikki Taylor.
