The Real housewives of Atlanta star, Porsha Williams has filed for divorce from her husband of 15 months, Simon Goubadia. This may come as a shock because the two were determined to be together after they faced controversy for their relationship in 2021. Simon was originally married to Porsha’s friend Falynn, we were introduced to their friendship on the show the RHOATL.

Things became awkward for the viewers after Falynn and Simon split and Falynn’s good friend Porsha began dating her ex-husband, Simon. Viewers didn’t know what to make of the situation. Porsha left the RHOATL Bravo franchise in 2021 and married Simon Goubadia in November of 2022 in an extravagant wedding ceremony.

More recently it is being reported that Simon was seeking permanent United States citizenship but his status has been denied due to his criminals record and rumors are swirling that he might be deported back to Nigeria.

Earlier this year Porsha announced she’ll be returning to the Real Housewives’ of ATL following her 3 year hiatus. We wonder if this sudden return to the reality show is due to the impending split from her wealthy businessman and husband, Simon Goubadia.
