We originally posted an article about the internet’s uproar over influencer Addison Rae receiving recognition for dances she did not originally create. Addison Rae who has over 27 million followers performed 8 viral TikTok dances created by social media creators all the while giving no credit to the originator. On Monday night Jimmy Fallon recognized his show’s fault in failing to give the appropriate credit and proceeded to do so on this particular episode. The talk show host stated “On our last show before break we did a bit with Addison Rae where she taught me 8 viral TikTok dances, now we recognize that the creators of those dances deserve to have their own spotlight…”
