In wake of multiple women coming forth with lawsuits and accusations of Diddy sexually assaulting them and his longtime ex-girlfriend Cassie, leading the charge the 54 year old hip hop mogul, has made the decision to step down from his position as Chairman of REVOLT. Here’s the statement issued by the media company he helped establish, REVOLT:
‘While Mr. Combs has previous had no operational or day-to-day role in the business, this decision helps to ensure that REVOLT remains steadfastly focused on our mission to create and amplify the voices of all Black people throughout this country and the African diaspora. Our focus has always been one that reflects our commitment to the collective journey of REVOLT- one that is not driven by any individual, but by the shared efforts and values of our culture- and that continues.”
