R. Kelly Found Guilty in High Profile Sex Trafficking Trial

R. Kelly has been found guilty on all counts in sex trafficking case in New York.

The singer pleaded not guilty and did not take the stand in his defense during his high profile trial. R. Kelly was convicted on one count of racketeering and eight counts of violating the Mann Act, a law bars the transport of people across state lines “for any immoral purpose.”

R.Kelly has a long history of sexual misconduct based conflicts with the law. In 2008 he went to trial after a vhs video of him performing sexual acts on an underaged girl surfaced but was acquitted on ‘child pornography’ charges. Rumors of him marrying his protege, Aaliyah in the 90’s were confirmed as true during this high profile trial.

R.Kelly is also facing charges in Minnesota and Illinois.
