New York, NY- Fashion wasn’t the only thing on the agenda in New York this weekend beauty was also a topic of discussion.
Yesterday in the Hell’s Kitchen location of New York City Urban Girl Magazine attended the Beauty Business Behavior panel at Stage48.
The event was held from 12 pm-4 pm and included a panel discussion where NYC social media influencers in the beauty industry gave advice on their success and answered questions from the audience.
Guests who attended the event enjoyed a casual brunch and a cash bar. There were also vendors in attendance like Bow Tie Nation selling one of a kind hand made bow ties.
The panel consisted of hair stylist @jayhairbigga, makeup artist and business owner Chyna of @dollhousepretty, Youtube mua @ellarie, model @Karinjinsui, stylist @simplicityxstyle, and mua @loso_mua. The event was hosted by @shaa.ssha and @kahhspence.
A few of the topics the panelist spoke on were the advantages of using social media to brand themselves and the importance of maintaining originality and staying in your own lane.
Two of the panelist were moms, Elarie and Chyna. These women shared their experiences on the hardships of being a mom and managing a business and the advantages of teaching your children to brand themselves as entrepreneurs as well.
Following the panel discussion there was a live performance by singer Lea Robinson. And I must say Lea killed her performance and truly rocked Stage 48 with her awesome voice!
Proceeding the performance guest were given swag bags and instructed to go upstairs to the rooftop lounge where the panelist posed for photo ops and answered additional questions in a more intimate setting.
