Beyonce and Solange, showed love to fellow singer Keyshia Cole on Saturday during the “Almeda” singer’s recent birthday celebration. She turned 37 over the weekend, sharing a series of intimate moments on Instagram. 

Knowles, who shares the same zodiac sign as Coles, posted a carousel which included a brief clip; inside what appeared to be a club, belting out Cole’s 2005 hit, “Love” from her debut album “The Way It Is,” alongside sister Beyonce and a few friends. 

This week, coincidentally, marks the 18th anniversary of the album, which spawned a reality tv show of the same name and aired on BET from 2006-2008. Cole has another milestone to celebrate this week, starring in her own Lifetime biopic, “Keyshia Cole: This Is My Story”. It depicts her life from humble beginnings in her hometown of Oakland, California to her rise to stardom. 

“I always wanted my first acting gig to be me playing myself, starring myself” said Cole via Instagram. “I wish the story being told would’ve unfolded MUCH DIFFERENTLY. And though we wish things could be different, we must accept life for what it is, stay with your head high and shoulders up!”

While Cole may have had a troublesome upbringing, it appears the future is very bright for the “Heaven Sent” singer. She recently graced the cover of Variety alongside icons, Mary J. Blige and TLC and launched Keyshia Cole x Red by Kiss, a collection of uber chic satin-lined caps and bonnets. Keyshia Cole: This Is My Story premiered on June 24th on Lifetime. She also teased, back in November, that a new album was in the works for 2023. Cole’s last album, 11:11 was released in 2017.
